You Should Shred!

[ 0 ] October 13, 2010 |

Most people don’t know how easily someone will steal your information from your trash. This is why we are encouraging our members to come out to our free shred day! It helps keep your identity and your information safe, also the shredded material is recycled.

We are offering a free shred day on Friday, October 15th from 1-4 P.M., as part of IAACU Member Appreciation Week. We will have C.O.P.S. here in our parking lot to perform this service for our members.

There are many reasons why you should be shredding your documents. Here are a couple of them:
1. To prevent identity theft
2. To safely dispose of confidential information

We have a great video about some of the things you can and can’t shred. Don’t forget to click subscribe to watch more videos from us as we post them.

Check out the C.O.P.S. website to learn more about shredding and what you can do to help protect yourself.
