Danell Dvorak is a painter, ceramicist, and teaching artist. Her circus drawings were featured in Magnificent Menagerie at University Galleries, Illinois State University, 2011. Her works have been exhibited widely, including nationally juried exhibitions at Gallery Up, Rock Hill, SC; Woman Made Gallery, Chicago, IL; Living Arts and Science Center, Lexington, KY, and William Paterson University, Wayne, NJ.  She received an Individual Artist Support Award from the Illinois Arts Council in 2010.

Danell has led art programs in rural and urban communities throughout the state since 2002.  Her residencies in schools, workshops for educators, and tile murals promote creativity, literacy, and diversity. Her program sponsors include Eastern Illinois University, Illinois Arts Council, Illinois Migrant Council, and numerous public schools. While maintaining her studio work and teaching programs, Danell became the first Gallery Coordinator at Heartland Community College in June 2011.

Her work is represented locally by Main Gallery 404 in downtown Bloomington.Nightfall
