waste basketThis doesn’t seem like it’s the most exciting event we have, but it’s certainly one of the most popular!

Shred Day is June 5,2013 from 12:00-3:00 pm here at IAA Credit Union.

We use a company called Confidential On-Site Paper Shredding (C.O.P.S.) to do our shredding for us. The great part about them is they recycle all the paper after it is shredded.

So, what should you bring to Shred Day? I’ve included a list of common documents you may want to bring with you.

  • Tax records and receipts older than 7 years.
  • Old bank statements. FYI for eStatement users you can access 1 years’ worth of statements in Online Banking.
  • ATM receipts
  • Old utility bills
  • Expired credit cards
  • Any expired ID’s (Visas, passports)
  • Medical records and bills if older than 1 year
  • Old credit card statements

Remember, this is a free service we offer so please stop by!
