Biography: Rachel

Regularly we will spotlight an IAA Credit Union employee for members to get to know us better and share our story.

Rachel started at the IAA Credit Union in 2005 as a Member Service Representative (MSR). She left the Credit Union briefly and returned in 2012 to her previous position. Rachel’s favorite part about working at the IAA Credit Union is working with her fellow employees and her relationship with members. She loves being able to talk to members about their daily lives and in return they get to know Rachel personally, which brightens her and the member’s day.

One of Rachel’s memorable moments about working at the Credit Union, is the annual Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. Most employees at the Credit Union dress up a sweater in a unique way to see who is the most creative. The employees at the Credit Union have unique contests throughout the year. Everyone can be goofy yet professional at the same time. This is why Rachel loves working here, because everyone treats each other like family.

Some of Rachel’s hobbies include spending time with her four boys, playing with her puppy, and reading novels in her spare time.

Rachel has worked at IAACU since April 2013. She graduated from Illinois State University in 2013 with a degree in Agribusiness. Rachel previously worked at the First State Bank of Monticello and for the City of Monticello. Since November 2014 she has been a member of the social media team and participates in other marketing activities. Her daily activities include answering phone calls, solving home banking and Visa questions, as well as helping at the COUNTRY Agency Learning School. She loves staying busy, organized, and proactive!
