Regularly we will spotlight an IAA Credit Union employee for members to get to know us better and share our story.

Nick started at the IAA Credit Union in June 2010 as the Vice President of Lending which is his residing position today.

Nick’s favorite aspect about the IAA Credit Union is the accessibility of every department. For example, if an employee has a question about another department such as marketing, accounting, or systems, the experts are right across the hall. This makes communication quick and easy.

One memory Nick has from his time at IAA Credit Union are the nicknames he has inherited. The nicknames such as “Brookz two shoes” and “Double Barrel Brookz” seem to have stuck. The newer employees of the Credit Union may not know Nick by those names just yet, but they will have to ask him next time they see him.

Nick has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, otherwise known as an MBA. He also carries the designation of a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor or CCUFC. The role of a CCUFC allows Nick to be able to guide members and non-members through their financial situations and help them plan for a better financial future.

In Nick’s free time he enjoys athletic activities such as basketball, baseball, football, and golf. In the summer months you will also find him enjoying other outdoor activities such as fishing, yard work, grilling out and spending time with family. In the winter months Nick enjoys spending free time looking for trophy whitetail deer in a tree stand or ground blind.
