Movin’ on up…Literally!

Congratulations to Lacey Shepherd! After working at IAACU for the past 8 years, Lacey has accepted a new position at COUNTRY in the Human Resources department.  She started with us in 2008 and worked her way up into becoming a Senior Teller.  Being in the teller department for that long, Lacey definitely saw many changes take place right before her eyes.  She watched as tellers got hired, graduated from college, moved on to other departments or companies, and even retired.  She helped thousands of customers at each branch and millions of dollars have passed through her hands over the last 8 years.

“Lacey was my go-to girl when I had questions”, said Lynnsey Otto, a current teller.  She also stated how Lacey always had a positive attitude and was constantly coming up with fresh and innovative ideas for different things throughout the years”. Current Head Teller, Tammy Volpe, shared some words about Lacey as well, “This is a girl who knows how to have fun!  She is an amazing mom to her twins Ellie and Easton and daughter Kayleigh.  I honestly don’t know where she gets her energy from.  I will always remember how she and her ‘work husband’ Matt Simpson would bicker back and forth.  You came to work and got a show!  She will be greatly missed.”

Lacey has moved on to her new position in COUNTRY HR, but in reality she will be physically closer to us than before!  Lacey was primarily stationed at the GE building credit union location. So, having her upstairs in the building of our main branch, may have some of us bumping into her more now than we ever did before!  Lacey is one of a kind and we know that members who came to visit her at her “station” will surely miss seeing her daily.  Good luck in your new adventure Lacey!  We know you will do great things for COUNTRY as you have for us at IAACU!
