Goodbye to a Good Friend

Today we say goodbye to Anna Wieting who has been a big asset to IAACU for over two years. Anna started her journey with us in November of 2015 in the call center where she worked part time. She was always flexible and willing to go the extra mile.  Anna never complained when asked to work extra hours to help out during department staffing shortages.  Many of you have probably talked to Anna on the phone, and a number of you have been lucky enough to have her help you at the teller line too! Anna recently moved to the teller line to accommodate her school schedule better.  This was definitely fine by us because we got to keep her on our team for a little bit longer. Since beginning with IAACU, Anna has been a full time student at ISU where she will graduate with her Bachelor Degree in Graphic Communication on May 12th. Anna has gained many lifelong friends here at IAACU due to her friendly and positive attitude. When asked what people would miss about her Calvin Weaver (Senior IT Specialist) said “She’s just a good person to work with. She does her job, never complains and her knowledge of pop culture is off the charts.” Anna’s other coworkers expressed how she was always willing to help and always had a smile and friendly attitude even in tough situations. I personally had the pleasure of working with Anna for a majority of her time here. The biggest thing that I will miss is her in general and not having her to laugh with throughout the day when we’d have time. Anna is leaving to pursue her career as an Account Manager at Mulligan Printing in St. Louis, Missouri. While we will miss Anna greatly, we are so proud of her and realize that exciting opportunities and challenges await her.  We wish Anna the best in all of her future endeavors!

Tammy Volpe- “I feel she is one of the sweetest kindest people I have ever met. We will miss her very much. Anna will forever be a part of the teller family and hold a special place in my heart. I wish her all the best life has to offer.”

Brian McGill- “I will miss her positive attitude and friendly and helpful personality. She was a quick learner, and really was a major contributor to helping our members through the credit card conversion with great customer service.”

Carly Scott- “Anna was very caring and always helped when she could. I’ll miss her fun personality and happy attitude. She went from a coworker to a great friend!”
