My art teacher assigned a project to draw a self-portrait showing some sort of an emotion. She had us take our own picture for reference and we had to use ink pens as our medium. I chose anger as my emotion because I get angry sometimes, but I tend to hide it from the public. In this portrait I show myself letting my anger out, something not a lot of people see. I chose to use a scribble technique instead of stippling, cross hatching, or some other ink technique. I did this because I feel it showed the anger the best, and it fit the piece better than the other options. The drawing was very fun to do and I think it turned out great.
